2NE1′s Park Bom Suffering From a Severe Flu, Risking Live Performance at the MAMA [Community Article]
YG Entertainment revealed that 2NE1′s Park Bom caught a flu and might not be singing in ’2011 MAMA’ which will be taking place in Singapore on November 29th 2011.
They also stated that she is unable to converse and might result lip-syncing during their performance.
Although the management told Park Bom to stay in Korea to get well, she insisted on performing in Singapore because she wants to repay her fans for their love and support.
If Bom doesn’t recover from her flu before 2NE1′s performance in Singapore, 2NE1 will have to lip-sync and use the AR (After Recording) version of their songs on stage.
This in turn, will play both the song’s melody and Bom’s recorder vocals.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 is competing for two categories this year at the MAMA: “Best Female Group” and “Best Performance.”
