FNC Music has announced that they will now train not only singers and musicians, but other talents as well. FNC Entertainment now aims to provide entertainers in various areas from musical talents to actors and actresses. They aim to spread their reach in the Korean entertainment industry. The transition was completed on April 16th, 2012.

FNC Entertainment is known for F.T. Island and CNBLUE.

Recently, Yenny of the Wonder Girls released her music video for “Hello to Myself.” Through this track, she was able to reveal both her outstanding musicianship through her self-composed lyrics and stellar vocals. The kpop-esque ballad song was created for the Dream High 2 OST track, and the simple music video features Yenny singing the song in the studio.

EXO-K, the Korean rookie group from SM Entertainment released their new single and music video.

So, the long awaited MV is out! Though this is still not an announcement of the groups’ debut, it’s still worth listening to as it is a full 4 minute 31 second music video.

This piece released by SM Entertainment  is titled “What is Love”  and shows a bit of soul and R&B – mixed with a lot of kpop.

This version is for EXO-K, the group aimed for Korea’s market. The “K” in EXO-K stands for Korean as the “M” in EXO-M stands for Mandarin.

Though the song is currently only for EXO-K, people wait to see the EXO-M version, if there ever will be one.

A rookie kpop group, B.A.P (Best, Absolute, Perfect), released a new music video/single “Warrior” on the company’s YouTube channel.

TS Entertainment, the business behind the new boy band B.A.P, focused on combining hip-hop and pop – much like what YG Entertainment did. This, is one reason why many anti-fans are against the group and its music.

However, the music B.A.P is providing is relatively new and unique. The surprising part of this music video was that all of the group members had blond hair. Though their hairstyle was different, it was hard to tell who was who at first.

The composer of the new single “Warrior” is TS Entertainment’s dedicated producer Kim Kibum and Kang Jiwon. The two have previously worked together on pieces for other artists like Secret and Bang&Zelo.

With a mix of hard-hitting rap and good vocals, the MV hit a view count of over 200,000 in just two days – a record for a debut single in 2012.

Brian Joo (formally of “Fly to the Sky”) has finally released his much-anticipated comeback kpop music video for “Let This Die (너 따윈 버리고)”, featuring the king of Korean hip hop, Tiger JK.

“Let This Die (너 따윈 버리고)” is part of Brian’s EP Album titled [Reborn: Part 1], which was released on iTunes earlier today on January 26th. “With the main theme as a collaboration focused on seriousness towards music, [Reborn Part 1] will allow Brian to be ‘reborn’ with new music and style. He wants to imbue that meaning to both his fans and himself,” states a representative.

He even has styled his hair to fit the trend.

Earlier this month, Brown Eyed Girls’ charismatic rapper Miryo revealed that she would be releasing her first solo album on February 1st. It seems that the album will be titled “Miryo aka Johoney”.

It was reported that the rapper has not only co-produced major portions of the record, but has taken creative control over its lyrical content and general musical direction.

Nega Network has recently uploaded image teasers from her album jacket photo shoot, and they show a new side of Miryo that has not been displayed as a Brown Eyed Girls member. Whereas she is known for her striking charisma and usually androgynous appearance, these released images for her album cover portray her feminine and girly side.

After being relatively dormant for the past eight months, B2ST has finally released the music video for the new song “I Knew It“.

Dongwoon, the group’s ‘maknae’ (which means ‘youngest’ in Korean), is the star of the music video and his acting skills drew high praise from director Zany Bros, who said that Dongwoon should pursue acting seriously because of his talent.

When Cube Entertainment finally unleashed the music video on January 26th, viewers were able to confirm the director’s remarks about Dongwoon’s acting for themselves.

Much to the surprise of everyone, the Wonder Girls’ Sohee and 2AM’s Seulong are officially a couple!

The two artists are both signed to JYP Entertainment and that is how they both became close to each other.

Anonymous sources report that Sohee is very shy and Seulong was one of the few friends she had.  Even though Sohee is a huge celebrity, she doesn’t have many friends and is very protective of her feelings.

“Sohee is a very careful person,” said the anonymous person who knows both members well. “Although she has been a celebrity for a while, she can count the number of friends on one hand.  She’s not the kind of person to easily reveal her feelings to anyone.”

From looking at the pictures shot by Dispatch, the two idols are seen going on a romantic date.  Ever since Sohee and the Wonder Girls returned from America, the relationship between Sohee and Seulong deepened greatly.

According to a source, Seulong is Sohee’s soulmate.  He was the only person she was able to talk to freely and openly about what she went through in the United States.

Everytime they met up, it was always a secret to even their closest friends, and it was always held late at night.

They met on Christmas, exchanged presents, and went to Gangnam on a date.

A representative for JYP stated, “The company does not know about their artists’ own private lives. Especially for emotional problems, we do not get involved. It will be hard to confirm anything about any feelings other than just friends.”
