SMTOWN’s Winter CD to Be Released!
Dec. 6th-SMTOWN announced on their official Facebook that they will be releasing a winter album just in time for the holidays. It has been four whole years since SMTOWN has released a holiday CD so this is surely to delight fans all around the world!
The CD titled, 2011 SMTOWN Winter [The Warmest Gift], will feature 11 tracks which include 7 original songs and 4 covers of famous Christmas Carols. The songs are all performed by popular SM artists including Super Junior, SHINee, f(x), SNSD, THE GRACE: DANA & SUNDAY, BoA, Kangta, TRAX, TVXQ!, Zhang Li Yin and J-min. A very impressive line-up indeed.
This past year SMTOWN held an international tour and visited several countries including the United States (both LA and NYC.) Each concert was a huge success and SM’s popularity really shined through their international fans and home base fans alike. Because of this, SM announced that the holiday album was recorded completely in English as a thank you to their fans across the globe.
The album is said to have songs of various genres from cute-pop songs to warm, soulful ballads, and even a song by TVXQ! accompanied by a lively orchestra. So there is definitely something for every k-pop fan out there! Plus what could be better than celebrating the holidays with your favorite K-pop idols?
