T-ara To Finally Have An Official Fan Club
T-ara, one of the most popular girl groups in Korea, surprisingly did not have an official fan club up to this point. The CEO, Kim Kwang Soo, didn’t believe an artist should be “limited to a specific group of fans; but rather receive support from the masses.” T-ara had begged him many times for a fan club, but he had always said no.
However, after seeing T-ara’s songs grab many #1 spots on shows and sites, Kim Kwang Soo finally gave in and will make a fan club. “After ‘Roly-Poly‘, ‘Cry Cry‘ and ‘Lovey Dovey‘, I feel that T-ara has officially become a popular girl group. This is why I decided to discontinue my 30-year tradition and make a fan club for them.”
Kim Kwang Soo also states that the fan club will be “completed around summer. And the girls do not know about my plans. It will be a good Lunar New Year’s gift for them.”
