The OG K-pop star who dropped out of her college diploma is singer BoA. Though she got the chance to go to college after passing the high school qualification exam in August 2002 and the high school qualification exam in April 2003, she eventually dropped out of college in 2004.
BoA started her career at the tender age of 13 and immediately became popular. On the broadcast, she was asked if she wished she had gone to college, but “The Queen of K-pop” replied proudly with her work:
“I didn’t go to college, but I don’t regret it. Instead, my career has built up so much.
If you don’t go to school because of classes, you are just a ghost student.

IU “Nation’s Little Sister” also failed the college entrance exam and her career is still at its peak!
IU expressed its intention not to participate in CSAT in 2012 to focus on its activities in the entertainment industry following its debut in 2008. By this time, IU had already been recognized for her supreme singing skills.
The star definitely made the right decision, because so far IU became the first Korean solo singer that the audience fell in love with, giving her the opportunity to organize a solo concert at the main Jamsil Stadium.
