Actress Lee Bo Young has been cast as the lead in TVing’s new drama ‘Hyde’

After The Agency, scheduled to air in 2023, Park Bo Young will host TVing’s original series Hyde.

According to a report by Sports Kyunghyang, Lee Bo Young recently confirmed that TVing’s “Hyde” will be her next film and is getting ready to shoot. It will be Lee Bo Young’s comeback in almost two years as the actress has not presented any new work since the premiere of tvN’s drama “Mine” last year.

Produced by DK E&M, Hyde will be directed by Kim Dong Hwi, who created KBS’s The Tale of Nokdu and Fight For My Way.

Apart from the fact that this work is an adaptation of a British drama, the plot has not been revealed. Under the similar title “Jekyll and Hyde” is recently famous in England. Set in London in the 1930s, the work tells the story of Dr. Jekyll’s grandson, who discovers the secret of his identity and family curse.

TVing’s “Hyde” will likely be a Korean version following this storyline. The production team recently confirmed Lee Bo Young as the lead character and is actively casting other leading actors.
