Argentina vs South Africa LIVE: Rugby Championship result and updates tonight

Argentina is hosting South Africa today, and the splendidly open Rugby Championship continues with the end of Round Five in Buenos Aires. Both Argentina and South Africa will advance to the penultimate round of matches, still battling for the title at the hands of New Zealand, and scoring bonus points for both of them would have equated them with the All Blacks at the top of the table.

New Zealand has taken control of its fate by winning a wild and dramatic competition against Australia in Melbourne on Thursday, with Ian Foster’s side firing on the buzzer, taking an unbelievable 39-37 win, and twists in this year’s Rugby Championship set to continue here.

South Africa rebounded to defeat Australia in the final game two weeks ago, but the field has since fallen into chaos as half of Elton Jantjies have been sent home from the camp, while Argentina has been brought down to earth following a historic win over New Zealand – when the All Blacks took their revenge with their 50 point win at Hamilton.
