BI “I want to be remembered as an artist with timeless music like The Beatles”

BI expressed his honesty about music in an interview with the Grammys.

In an interview published on the official Grammy website on November 22 (local time), BI told stories related to the global EP “Love or Loved Part.1”.

Regarding the EP, which features various forms of love stories, BI said: ““Love or Loved Part.1” is more about teenage love than about my life. It’s interesting how many different kinds of emotions are associated with the world of love. For me, every challenge is an opportunity for development“. Of the title song “Keep me up”, he said:I’m in Korea, and the producers who helped me were in the US, so we couldn’t meet and work together at the same time and sit in the same place. I was just trying to learn from them – like learning about their styles and processes of making music. It has become like a new kind of weapon for making music“. In particular, he added:I’ve been trying new things lately. Now I like collaborating with other people“.

To the question “When people hear BI and your music, what do you want them to remember?“, He answered, “I hope they still want more. I’d like to be remembered as an artist who constantly makes great music that they keep coming back to – good songs that last forever. Like the Beatles, I want to be remembered as an artist with timeless music“.

When asked “What are you most proud of in your career?“, B.I. replied: “I feel proud when I perform in front of my fans and when they sing for me or when they jump to a song with me“. He also revealed his goals:I want to go on a world tour and meet more of my international fans. I also started imagining that I would be nominated for a GRAMMY“.

BI will hold “2022 ALL DAY SHOW ‘LOL: THE HIDDEN STAGE'” at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on December 10.
