The label’s full statement reads as follows:

“Hello,

This is GREAT MUSIC.

We want to thank you for your consistent support of BTS and let you know about Jin’s upcoming military enlistment.

Jin will fulfill his required time in the military by enlisting. Please note that we will not be holding any official events on the day of his recruitment.

The entry ceremony is a time observed exclusively by military personnel and their families. To avoid congestion issues, we ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep warm words of support and goodbye in your hearts.

We also advise you not to be adversely affected by the illegal purchase of unauthorized tours and product bundles using the artist’s intellectual property. Our agency will take the necessary action against any attempt of commercial activity involving unauthorized use of such intellectual property.

We ask for continued love and support for Jin until he completes his military service and returns. Our company will also try to provide him with all the support he needs during this time.

Thank you.”

Earlier in late November, it was reported that BTS Jin’s military enlistment date was December 13. There he will undergo basic training before being sent to a front-line military unit. In response to the reports, BIG HIT MUSIC commented that it was difficult to confirm.
