Male idol group brand reputation rankings for January 2023 have been published! The rankings are based on data collected from December 7, 2022 to January 7, 2023.
Consumer engagement, media coverage, interactions and community metrics of various male groups were also analysed. Brand Reputation Rankings for January were released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
Featuring the Top 10 Male K-Pop Groups Included in Brand Reputation Rankings for January 2023!
1. BTS

With a Brand Reputation Index of 10,103,467 in January, BTS topped the list for the 56th straight month. A Positivity and Negativity survey by BTS also showed an 83.10 percent positive response.
2. NCT

NCT improved their Brand Reputation Index by an astounding 129.32 percent over the previous month, moving them into second place. The collective result of the group for January increased to 5,087,767.
3. SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN, on the other hand, ranked third with a brand reputation index of 3,595,017. In the previous ranking from 2021, SEVENTEEN ranked second with an index of 3,541,815. They are known for their songs, music productions and performances, as well as their album sales.
4. Super Junior

The legendary group Super Junior jumped to fourth place with a Brand Reputation Index of 2,962,809, a staggering 155.83 percent increase over the previous month.
5. EXO

With a Brand Reputation Index of 2,805,829, EXO ranked fifth, improving its score by 32.86 percent since December.
6. Stray children

Stray Kids achieved a staggering brand reputation rating of 2,777,286. This achievement proves their importance in the fourth generation of K-pop and JYP Entertainment’s boy bands.
7. BOY

The Boyz scored a brand reputation index of 2,748,938. Last December, The Boyz rounded up the index to 2,123,456. This shows how the group improved its score last month.
8.BTOB

BTOB also joins the list due to their numbers in the January 2023 Brand Reputation Rankings. The group recently achieved a Brand Reputation Index of 1,817,576.
9. ASTRO

ASTRO ranked ninth with an astounding brand reputation score of 1,758,227. Last month, ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo was ranked 4th in the December 2022 Brand Reputation Ranking, which focused on male idols. The idol actor scored an index of 5,234,782 and received a 6.56 percent increase in score.
10. BIG MOVEMENT

The cult K-pop boy band BIGBANG gathered a total of 1,617,175 people. Continuing their legacy, BIGBANG will continue to make headlines with their music, charisma and creativity.
