BTS visit the White House to discuss anti-Asian hate crimes – video | Music

BTS visited the White House to discuss hate crimes against Asians with the US president.

Team members J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jungkook, V, Jin and Jimin joined White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for her briefing with journalists prior to their meeting with Joe Biden.

Jimin said the group was “devastated by the recent increase” of hate crimes and intolerance against Asian and other Americans that have lingered since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

“There’s nothing wrong with being different,” Suga said through the translator. “Equality begins when we open up and accept all our differences”
