In addition to the Gold Cup, players will be excited to take part in many Class 1 races this week.

In what could be a wet second day of the festival, British coaches are hoping to retaliate after beating their Irish counterparts hard last year, losing the Prestbury Cup 12 months ago with just 10 wins compared to the Irish’s 18 wins.

According to research by the University of Gloucestershire, the festival provides a massive £274 million in support to the local economy. Here’s everything you need to know before 2023 Cheltenham Festival, including the full race card and Wednesday’s Day 2 schedule:

When is 2023 Cheltenham Festival?

Cheltenham Festival 2023 starts on Tuesday 14 March and runs until Friday 17 March. There are seven races each day, starting at 13:30 GMT and finishing at 17:30.
