On November 25, Blockberry Creative went to LOONA’s official fan cafe to announce that Chuu had been removed from the group due to her “violent language and abuse of power against company personnel.”

Later that day, that YouTube channel “Choerry Front” uploaded a video that was shot at Chuu’s birthday party in October. On the 20th of last month, the idol organized a birthday party at the Mały Teatr Pod Chmrą.

Early in the video, she seemed to hint at Blockberry Creative’s announcement of her removal from LOONA.

Chuu said, “From now on, due to some things I can’t control, sometime at the end of the year, for some reason, when some news stories go down and it may be surprising, you might be taken back.”
“Because I work hard…” she continued before bursting into tears and receiving cheers from the audience. “I am very grateful and will continue to work hard on my classes. I am very grateful and I hope you still love me.”

The former LOONA member went on to say, “I just hope you know I didn’t host this birthday party for that reason but it happened later so I just wanted you to know there’s an additional problem so I’d be grateful if you just knew how grateful I was.”
Chuu finally said, “Thank you. But please know that today I’m only talking to the fans here and again to all the fans here, to everyone who made my birthday shine today, thank you!”

With her special summer album, LOONA broke the first-week sales record on the Hanteo chart. They sold a total of 117,387 copies from June 20 to June 26, beating their previous record of 76,293 copies set by 2021’s “&” album.

In addition to taking part in the comeback, Chuu also released a remake of “One and a Half” by TWO TWO which was originally released in 1994. She also released a song titled “Lullaby” with B.I.
