CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa is preparing a new drama with Cha Tae Hyun + which makes it so special

CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa revealed what viewers can expect from his upcoming drama “Brain Cooperation” (literal translation)!

Brain Cooperation is a new brain science comedy thriller about two men who can’t stand each other but must work together to solve a crime involving a rare brain disease. Jung Yong Hwa continues to star as neuroscientist Shin Ha Ru, who has an exceptionally sharp brain, while Cha Tae Hyun will play the all-too-good detective Geum Myung Se, who has a pushover brain.

A world-renowned neuroscientist who is handsome, articulate, and extremely intelligent, Shin Ha Ru is willing to resort to any means necessary when it comes to furthering brain research. However, even when everything seems to be going well for him, he lacks one thing that the frosty and cold Shin Ha Ru lacks: interpersonal skills. As a result, when he joins forces with the selfless and altruistic Geum Myung Se, the two polar opposites clash at every turn.

Recalling his excitement when he was offered the role of Shin Ha Ru, Jung Yong Hwa said, “When the opportunity presented itself to play a professional in a script that was really funny and charming, I gladly agreed.”

Regarding how he prepared for the role, the actor-singer revealed, “Since Shin Ha Ru is an irritable and prickly character, I slimmed down and also tried to visually show his sharp and prickly side.”

Regarding what sets Brain Cooperation apart from other dramas in its genre, Jung Yong Hwa noted, “There are many crime and mystery dramas out there, but I think this is the first drama that deals with brain science in a fun and understandable way. way”.

He then added: “Cases [in the drama] they are really great and the story is full of fun and interesting themes so please show lots of love and interest to her.”

Brain Cooperation will premiere on January 2, 2023 at 21:50 KST.
