The fans are defending once again aspa‘s Giselle from alleged unfair treatment, this time by a luxury brand Chopard.
Treatment of Giselle with the hands SM Entertainment has been frequently researched since its debut. For example, recently fans have been upset when Giselle had to personally ask SM Entertainment to upload her playlist on Spotify after WE couldn’t find it on the official Aespa account, even though it had already been announced.
had to ask you to send it? what else sm bothering giselle from behind closed door? https://t.co/OWtLpZKONX

This happened just after another recent case of alleged ill-treatment. In August this year, a fashion brand South Korea She came under fire for omitting Giselle’s styling guide and even misspelling her name on its website, despite the group being a global brand ambassador.
It makes no sense to make them a global ambassador, you treat one of the members unfairly.

This was not the only time Giselle was left out of the official material. In addition to cases where it has been excluded from promotional material of cosmetic brands such as Mediterranean and CLIOThere has also been opposition to the media for blurring her face in photos or even removing her completely.

As aespa has become Chopard brand ambassadors, fans are raising concerns again. The reason behind these new fears is that, perhaps unsurprisingly, Giselle received an unfair amount of screen time in a recent promotional video compared to its members. Despite the fact that the ad was 30 seconds long (and there are only 4 members), Giselle only appeared on the screen for 1 second.
new aespa x chopard video with just 1 SECOND clip with giselle 💀 yeah, all these aespa brands working with aespa share the same race 🥶

This prompted WE to criticize Chopard for perpetuating the apparent pattern of brands bullying Giselle …

… And to point out that at this pace these projects seem to hinder her career rather than promote it.
Considering how often this has happened in the past, it’s understandable that fans would be concerned about how Giselle is managing. After all, even during the last ones LIVE 2022 concerts, Giselle seemed to be the only person to suffer consistently from technical difficulties. She did it very professionally, but fans couldn’t help expressing frustration at the problems with her performance.
Hopefully SM Entertainment will heed MY concerns. In the meantime, read more about Giselle’s treatment by SM Entertainment here!
