Coming Monday through Tuesday, the SBS drama “Cheer Up” (literal title) has published a trailer!
Cheer Up is a mysterious new campus romantic comedy about the university’s cheerleading squad, whose glory days are long gone and are now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun will star as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Theia cheerleading squad at Yeonhee University who has a cheerful personality despite the tough conditions at home. Bae In Hyuk will play the often misunderstood captain of Thei, Park Jung Woo, who is a romantic, and Kim Hyun Jin will play the role of fellow novice Jin Seon Ho, a wealthy and handsome student who has always walked the elite path in life.
The poster shows the scene for the school’s cheerleading squad, which is full of youthful enthusiasm and energy. The audience’s attention is drawn to the vitality of the fans on stage and the enthusiastic crowd below. First of all, the attitude of the cheerleader with her hand outstretched towards the blue sky gives the impression that she is shouting: “Lighten up!” everyone, giving you a glimpse into the heart-pounding dream stage.
Cheer Up will show the heart-fluttering first love of youth, as well as the joy of cheerleading performances. The dreams of a young adult living in the present and the passion that pushes him to run towards his dream awaken anticipation of the catharsis that the drama will bring to the small screen.
