“Killing Romance” has released new stills with Honey Lee!
Directed by “How to Use Guys With Secret Tips” director Lee Won Suk and written by “The Beauty Inside” screenwriter Park Jeong Ye, the upcoming comedy “Killing Romance” tells the story of a famous star who suddenly announces her retirement from the entertainment industry and her fateful meeting with chaebol from a distant island. However, after meeting a devoted fan (Gong Myung), they join hands to plan the most spectacular operation for her return. As the title suggests, the film promises zero romance and maximum laughs.
Honey Lee will play Yeo Rae, a top star who becomes the laughing stock of audiences because of her poor acting and eventually decides to retire. He leaves for an island in the South Pacific and falls in love there chaebol Jonathan Na (Lee Sun Gyun) who made his own fortune. However, it turns out to be gradually changing due to Jonathan’s mad obsession throughout his married life.
The newly released stills, which are supposed to be scenes from the movie and commercial starring Yeo Rae, capture the unique atmosphere and charm of Honey Lee, who transforms into Yeo Rae.
Director Lee Won Suk noted, “The key to Yeo Rae’s role in Killing Romance is beauty. I thought Honey Lee was the right actress to be responsible for this beauty. I believed that she would perfectly capture the joys and sorrows of Killing Romance, because she is an actress equipped with wide [acting] spectrum that includes drama and comedy.”
The premiere of “Killing Romance” is scheduled for April 14. Be cautious!
