He first became an intern at Yuehua Entertainment before joining BELIFT LAB. In 2017, he represented Yuehua in the popular Mnet survival show “Produce 101” (season 2). At that time, he was still using his original name. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the fifth episode and only came in the 79th place.

Choi Seon’s journey after Mnet’s “I-LAND”
In the first episode, Seon appeared first and gave a solo cover of GOT7’s “Lullaby”. He was able to enter “I-LAND” with 22 votes from other players. However, in episode 6, he was chosen to be sent to “earth”. This followed the first mission, which is the performance of the theme song of the survival program “Into the I-LAND” IU.

During the second mission, Seon and other participants made a remix of BTS “Fire”. Then, in the third mission, he did not participate in any battle, as the contestants selected only a few team members to represent the group in vocal and dance battles.

Then, in the final test, the participants of “I-LAND” and “Ground” performed the original song “I & credible” and the theme song “Awakening”.
Unfortunately, Choi Seon was eventually eliminated from the show and was unable to participate in Part 2.

Currently, former “I-LAND” player Choi Seon is now a member of the South Korean production team CIELOGROOVE called ON. This team is said to have been formed in 2021 with a total of 11 members.
As part of CIELOGROOVE, Seon has already created several works. They include “U” from the album “CIELOGROOVE Project Vol.1”, where he is considered a songwriter and composer. He also composed a song from the album “CIELOGROOVE Project Vol.2” entitled “Yellow”.

In addition, he wrote and composed “Run” by Lee Junyong and “Wake Up” THE MAN BLK from “Love Taste”. He is credited with being the composer of Sung Si Kyung’s “If You’re With Me”, OST to the K drama “Snowdrop” starring BLACKPINK Jisoo and Jung Haein.
But besides songs for other singers, former “I-LAND” contestant Seon also released his own song. On March 14, 2022, he released his first exclusive SoundCloud entitled “Die For You”. Unfortunately, the track seemed to be removed as it can no longer be found on the platform. The only music available on Seon’s SoundCloud account is called “MIX”.
