On October 17, ITZY posted the poster on its official social media accounts, announcing more concerts for their first world tour, “CHECKMATE”.

According to the postthe singer “SNEAKERS” will play concerts in four different cities in Southeast Asia in 2023. First they will go to Manila, Philippines (SM Mall of Asia Arena) on January 14th, and then to Singapore (The Star Theater) in January. 28, Jakarta, Indonesia (Tennis Indoor Senayan) on February 4 and Bangkok, Thailand (Thunder Dome) on April 8.

This is not the first time the girls’ group has visited these four Asian cities, as they met fans in these regions before during their 2019 premiere tour, “ITZY? ITZY! ” after their debut.

ITZY’s world tour “CHECKMATE” began in early August this year. The girls played two appearances on August 6 and 7 at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, marking their first solo concert in the city in three and a half years after their debut.

This October, the vocalists of “LOCO” will continue their world tour in North America. They will perform in Los Angeles on October 26, Phoenix October 29, Dallas November 1, Houston November 3, Atlanta November 5, Chicago November 7, Boston November 10, New York November 13

So far, the world tour of ITZY “CHECKMATE” consists of 14 concerts in 13 different cities. But according to their post, the next stops have not yet been announced. So MIDZY in other countries should be up to date.

ITZY will release the pre-release English single “Boys Like You”

In other news, ITZY also announced that it will be releasing a new pre-release single in English this week.

On October 17, the quintet released the Halloween-inspired first trailer for their upcoming song, “Boys Like You”. AND according to their announcementis scheduled for October 21 at 1:00 PM KST.

ITZY’s Boys Like You is the successor to the band’s new mini-album CHECKMATE, which was released on July 15 this year. This EP features the title song “SNEAKERS” which is about following your heart instead of focusing on other people’s words.

Recall that “CHECKMATE” was a commercial success as it debuted at number 1 on the Circle Albums South Korea chart with 700,000 copies sold in its first week of release. This is the fourth time girls have reached the top of the album charts, and it’s their best-selling album so far.

Additionally, the mini-album almost doubled the group’s previous sales in the first week. It sold 472,394 copies on the Hanteo Chart from July 15-21, surpassing their initial record of 259,705 copies set by their first studio album “CRAZY IN LOVE” last September.

Apart from the EP, the title track “SNEAKERS” was also well received by the fans. The music video for the song reached 100 million views on YouTube just a month, 11 days and 16 hours after its release. This is the group’s seventh music video to reach a milestone, following “DALLA DALLA”, “ICY”, “Not Shy”, “WANNABE”, “In the morning” and “LOCO”.

As of this writing, MV ITZY’s “SNEAKERS” views have reached 115.5 million on YouTube.
