Jin BTS solo songs to listen to when you miss him during his military service

There are only a few weeks left before BTS Jin enlists in the army. After undergoing a five-week basic training at a recruit training center in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, he will serve as an active duty soldier in a line unit.

Since the male idol will serve in the military for more than a year, ARMYs will surely miss him, so here is a list of other BTS Jin solo songs besides “The Astronaut” that you can listen to when you miss him.

Jin’s Awakening

Released in October 2016, “Awake” is Jin’s first solo song. It is featured on BTS’s 2016 studio album “Wings”. In an interview with GQ Australia, the singer confessed that he had reached a turning point while writing the song. He said at the time, “My first solo track ‘Awake’ was the first time I felt the urge to try something new as a musician.”

Jin’s Epiphany

Possibly one of Jin’s most famous solo songs, “Epiphany” was released in August 2018 and refers to the concept of BTS’ “Love Yourself” series. It’s about celebrating and honoring yourself. In the lyrics, the idol declares: “I am the one I should love in this world … I am the one I should love”, which undoubtedly helped millions of listeners in their process of loving themselves. “Tonight” by Jin

Jin’s “Tonight” was released in 2019 as part of BTS’s 6th anniversary celebration. Jin worked on this song with his colleague RM and longtime BTS collaborators Slow Rabbit and Hiss Noise. The acoustic R&B-pop track “Tonight” focuses on Jin’s airy falsetto in a production that morphs from sparse guitar to an emotionally bright combination of synths and piano. Listen here.

Jin’s “Abyss”.

Jin released this moving personal ballad “Abyss” in 2020 to celebrate his 28th birthday. He also sent a handwritten letter to the ARMY around this time. In this letter, he confessed that he experienced “huge burnout” and wondered if he deserved all the praise he received when BTS hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. He went on to say that “Abyss” contained the messages he wanted to say and conveys all his feelings like anxiety, insecurity and burnout. Listen here.

Jin’s “Moon”.

“MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” BTS, “Moon” is Jin’s solo song that highlights his love for pop and rock. It has become a representative song for BTS and ARMY as Jin thinks of himself as the moon and the fans as the Earth – both of which will be incomplete when one is missing as the moon lovingly rotates and watches over the Earth whose landscapes are lit by moon. “Your” Jin

Released in 2021, Jin’s song “Yours” served as the main theme for the Korean drama “Jirisan”. This helped the TV debut with the highest-rated series premiere for Korean cable television tvN. In this track, Jin once again showed his ability to tell stories by singing, “Every night I see you in my heart / Every time I do it, I end up crying.” Listen here.

Jin’s next solo song, “Super Tuna”, was released for his birthday in 2021. It is a trot song that comes from his love of fishing.
