The problem came to light when Kang Daniel was broadcasting the final episode of the Mnet dance competition “Street Man Fighter” live on November 8. After the final battle was over, the idol took a moment to thank the sponsors of the program. but it surprised viewers when he named the wrong brand.

A representative of the TV station criticized him for this mistake, commenting: “The MC doesn’t even know the basics.”

Mnet also responded to the issue by saying that it would remove Kang Daniel’s comment from the “Street man Fighter” finale replay and add background music. They also stated that the last idol scene on the show would be edited and re-aired.
