The day the photo was taken was Hong Eunchae’s birthday, which she excitedly revealed to the interviewer. On receiving so many birthday wishes from fans at home and abroad, the group’s maknae said, “That’s why I can’t believe it. It’s so amazing. Even last year I had a little party in the rehearsal room.”

When asked if she had fulfilled any of her childhood dreams, Eunchae mentioned a K-pop band that played a key role in her dream of becoming a K-pop idol. This group is none other than the world famous men’s band SEVENTEEN.

She said, “I started dreaming of becoming an idol after watching a SEVENTEEN concert when I was younger. I fell in love seeing the cheers from their fans. [My dream] started when I thought, “If I also sang and danced on this stage, would the fans like me too?” I think it’s the biggest dream I’ve ever had. Getting cheers from the fans.”

Actually, it’s not the first time LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae mentioned SEVENTEEN in an interview.

In Eunchae’s solo interview, interviewer Kim Ri Eun asked her, “What kind of energy would you like to convey to your fans through what you do?”
The “ANTIFRAGILE” singer replied that she wanted to exude the same energy as the K-pop boy group that inspired her to debut as a K-pop idol. She recalled how watching them perform live made her realize that she too wanted to be on stage.

LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae said, “I went to the Dream Concert in 2018 and when I saw all the fans cheering so hard during SEVENTEEN’s performance, I thought to myself, ‘I want to be on this stage too.’
Meanwhile, Eunchae directed fans to listen to LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” in 2023 during an interview with Allure Korea.
She explained: “There will be many unimaginable and difficult situations during the year. You’ll have to listen to ‘ANTIFRAGILE’ in the sense of becoming a stronger person by overcoming all these difficulties.”

For the week of November 6–12, “ANTIFRAGILE” peaked at number 3 on both the Digital and Streaming charts, and peaked at number four on the Download Chart. The song also topped the recent global K-pop chart.
Moreover, LE SSERAFIM maintained a strong position at #5 on the social chart last week.
