Love Island viewers believe that the producers are trying to separate the two contestants.
On Thursday’s episode (January 26), there was a reunion where the two new bomb comers got to pick first.
This threw a wrench into Lanie’s work as Ellie decided to connect with Ron, who had gotten along well with Lana since the beginning of the show.
Lana’s contestants gasped when Ellie announced that Lana would pick Ron.
Ellie said of her decision, “I don’t think he’s met his opponent yet and I’m really looking forward to getting to know him better.”
Ron made a move with his stride, and Lana said, “He doesn’t whine much. Come on.”
Will, who was in a friendly pair with Lana, chose to bond with Jessie, while the last remaining boy, Aaron, had no choice but to choose Lana.
Announcing his decision, he told Lanie: “Keep your head up and be yourself – it’s a race here, not a marathon.
“At least we’ll make a great friendship – at least we can talk about Harry Potter all night.”
“I just can’t catch a break, can I?” a surprised Ellie said after the reconnection ended.
Viewers were unimpressed with Ellie’s decision as it seemed Lana was destined to find love in the villa.
“The producers are doing everything in their power to keep Lana and Ron apart,” one viewer wrote, while another added: “Nooo, not Ellie breaking up Lana and Ron, I’m so nervous.”
