Are you among the fans who are religiously awaiting the annual end-of-year music awards ceremony? Sit back as the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (often referred to as the “2022 EMA)” announced on its official website the list of nominees for this year’s awards ceremony.
The MTV Europe Music Awards is an awards body presented by Paramount International Networks that is committed to recognizing and recognizing artists and musicians in pop culture. This year’s MTV EMA exhibition will be held on November 13, 2022 at PSD Bank Dome Düsseldorf, Germany.

BLACKPINK, YG Entertainment’s girly pride, won nominations in four categories, namely “Best Video” for “Pink Venom” and “The Virtual”, “Best Metaverse Performance” for “The Virtual | PUBG, “Best K-Pop,” and “Biggest Fans.”
A group of four girls will face Harry Style’s As It Was, All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor Version) Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar’s Heart Part 5, Nicki’s “Super Freaky Girl” Minaj, ”and“ Woman ”by Doji Cat in the“ Best Movie ”category.

A known name on the MTV EMA for winning four awards in 2020 and 2021, BTS reappears as a nominee in 2022 for Best K-Pop, Biggest Fans and Best Metaverse Performance for BTS | Minecraft “.
BTS mates from HYBE SEVENTEEN and Tomorrow X Together are also nominated. As a first-time nominee, SEVENTEEN, the timing group won three nominations, in particular – Best K-pop, Best New Artist and Best Push Artist.

Meanwhile, TXT, one of the gems of HYBE Labels, is also competing for the best K-pop. Additionally, TXT is selected as the Korean representative of Best Asia Act. Labelmates TWICE and BLACKPINK’s ITZY and Lisa complete the list of the best K-pop nominees.
The BLACKPINK, ITZY, TWICE, BTS, TXT and Seventeen nominations at MTV EMA 2022 confirm the influence of K-pop in Asia and abroad. The award-winning international organizations where K-pop idols are nominated are the channel to showcase, recognize and promote this generation of icons who only embody a love of pop culture and music.

This year, the award body added two new categories, most notably Best Longform Video and Best Metaverse Performance. Audiences are reported to start voting in 17 categories including Best Song, Best Artist, Best Collaboration, and two new categories from October 12, 2022 (CET).
Fans have until November 9, 2022 11:59 PM (CET) to show their support to their favorite artists as they compete for the 2022 MTV EMA title.
