NCT Haechan has become the subject of dating rumors after a fan video on TikTok suggested he was dating the American actress.
Haechan has been making headlines in recent weeks as fans have been talking about his milestones as a K-pop idol. His achievements have been talked about recently after it was revealed that he already has over 50 albums.
In addition to his professional career, his personal life became the focus of attention as he became involved with an American actress.

Haechan shocked everyone – unknowingly – after a TikTok video claiming to be dating American actress Jenna Ortega went viral.

The video shows a user asking a content creator about random things he wants to tell everyone. Some of the statements listed on it include Hyuna and Dawn’s breakup, Chuu’s announcement of a solo release, IVE winning Song of the Year, Overwatch ATEEZ event, Season 2 “Alice in Wonderland” (sic), Season “All of Us Are Dead” 2 as well as the return of MOMOLAND and GWSN.

The same clip claimed Haechan and Jenna Ortega were dating, sparking “baseless” rumors online.
The hype spread like wildfire and has already propelled the video to nearly 100,000 likes. Fans immediately expressed their surprise by leaving comments under the post. They called out the user who posted the video for including this topic unexpectedly.

Some also expressed their disbelief on Twitter and asked everyone to stop spreading rumors. Among the comments we read:
“why do people say Haechan and Jenna Ortega are dating???”
“how do you even make up a rumor about haechan and jenna ortega? I picked two names out of the bag.”
“someone said jenna ortega and haechan are dating on tiktok and i was laughing.”
“stans tiktok has lost his mind because when haechan has a rumor about dating jenna ortega, they really just pulled it out of the hat.”
NCT Haechan and Jenna Ortega have yet to respond, but this isn’t the first time the K-pop idol has sparked dating rumors.

Before the name of the actress “Wednesday” was mentioned along with Haechan’s last name, the NCT member addressed rumors of dating ITZY member Ryujin.

The hype started in 2021 and continued this year. Haechan was hosting a VLIVE session at the time and accidentally showed viewers his iPad screen. Eagle-eyed admirers noted that she only follows NCT and ITZY channels.

Online detectives started looking for “clues” and discovered that Haechan and Ryujin had several “pairs of items”, including phone cases and Bluetooth headphones.

Also, the Bubble accounts of both K-pop idols used the way to write “sleep tight” in Korean. They also spotted Ryujin wearing a Tiffany & Co necklace. a month after Haechan was spotted visiting the same store.
This, like the latest dating rumors, should be taken with a grain of salt, however, as none of the artists have ever confirmed it.
