There are some noticeable differences in Minja’s appearance between then and now. In her elementary school photos, Minja’s nose is noticeably flatter and her sternum is not that tall. Additionally, her double eyelids are not deep. In some pictures, it looks like there is no fold.

However, after making her NewJeans debut, Minji boasts a tall, slender nasal bridge and nasal folds. In addition, her double eyelid is much deeper and the aegyosal area is more visible. A user in a post stated: “I think she changed her nose and eyes.”

The user does not accuse the idol of undergoing plastic surgery. Instead, she praises how well the procedure went, saying that all her features look natural. This becomes apparent only in comparison with her pre-debut photos.
