Since their debut on July 22, the five-member new girly band formed by ADOR (led by Min Hee Jin) has hit the charts with their catchy songs “Attention”, “Hype Boy” and “Cookie”.

They also made history with their first EP “New Jeans” in terms of album sales. In addition to becoming the girls ‘first K-pop debut album to surpass 200,000 copies on its first day of release, “New Jeans” broke the first-week highest-selling record of any K-pop girls’ debut album in Hanteo Historia.

Moreover, NewJeans won their first rookie award, namely the Next Leader award at The Fact Music Awards 2022 just 79 days after their debut.

Due to its influence in the musical field, the quintet has become one of the most sought after k-pop groups of the fourth generation. Just three months after starting their careers, the singers of “Attention” have already won several promotional contracts.
According to the October 12 ADOR, NewJeans is the active face of companies in a wide variety of industries, including telecommunications companies, banks, and fashion stores. Among them are five major brands including SK Telecom, MEGASTUDY, Shinhan Bank, Musinsa and Pinkfong.

On September 30, a rookie group made an appearance in the SK Telecom iPhone 14 ad, proving their celebrity status as getting a brand deal on this scale is rare for a new group like them.
On October 11, Pinkfong posted a video of NewJeans dancing to the song Ninimo. Content variety will disappear over time.

But in addition to the brands mentioned, other agencies also keep an eye on the singers of “Hype Boy” as their new face. ADOR revealed that over 100 companies from various fields have contacted the new group of girls and are currently in talks about cooperation. Even global brands contacted them to get promotion contracts, they added.

There is hardly any other fourth-generation K-pop group that has such an impressive range of brand endorsements. It just goes to show that NewJeans has successfully made a name for itself in the industry.
The first NewJeans EP certified by Circle Chart + remains on the Billboard World Albums Chart
In other news, on October 6th, NewJeans’ first EP “New Jeans” was certified by Circle Chart. The album was certified platinum for selling 250,000 copies in South Korea.
