Over the years, several SM Entertainment interns have left the company. Some of them trained alongside current aespa members – Karina, Winter, Ningning and Giselle.

Popular are Kim Chaehyun, An Jeongmin and Park Jungyeon who remain in the entertainment industry. Chaehyun in particular is now a member of the girls’ design group Kep1er, while An Jeongmin just competed in Girls Planet 999 last year and Park Jungyeon is now a signed actress with KeyEast Entertainment.

Former SM Entertainment interns and aespa members may have gone their separate ways, but it turns out they still have a strong bond, even after years of separation.
Recently, a photo of them, taken in a photo booth, appeared. The photo was shared on the Instiz online forum on October 11th.

According to the post, the photo features aespa Karina and Winter, Kep1er Kim Chaehyun, “Girls Planet 999” participant An Jeongmin, actress Park Jungyeon, and other unnamed individuals. These photos were taken in a Korean photo booth called Haru Film.

The internet user who posted the photo said in response to one of the comments, asking if it had been taken recently that the girls met on the day Meeting of Kep1er fans “Kep1anet”, which took place on June 10.

They also revealed that former SMROOKIES member Ko Eun also attended the fan meeting but is not in the group photo.

Meanwhile, aespa has been very active in the industry over the past few months.
On July 8, the four-member girl group released their second mini-album Girls, which includes the title song of the same name. This album will be remembered by aespa and their fans as it is the band’s first project to sell millions of copies on the Hanteo Chart in its first week.

On October 2, aespa appeared at Paris Fashion Week 2022 as global ambassadors for the luxury brand Givenchy. They especially took part in the “Women’s Clothing Collection Spring / Summer 2023” event of this brand.
