Red Velvet Wendy shares details of GOT The Beat album and love for ReVeluvs
On February 6, Singles Korea posted pictures of Wendy wearing elegant clothes and dazzling visuals. Wendy also took her time answering questions during the interview.

In the first thread, she went over the details of GOT The Beat’s recent comeback, “Stamp On It”. Wendy said she was relieved since GOT The Beat released the mini-album, compared to their previous single “Step Back”. She conveyed how the subdivision’s identity is imprinted through “Stamp On It”.
In addition to the uniqueness of the album, Wendy also explained the intentions of the songs on the B-side. The singer stated that the B-sides are about cultivating self-confidence as well as maintaining self-confidence. She also thanked fans and staff for their self-esteem.

Wendy mentioned that the ReVeluvs are amazing for supporting a group for a long time. The “Like Water” singer expressed gratitude to fans for loving Red Velvet, despite the debuts of newer groups.
Since Wendy is thriving in the K-pop industry, she is also a radio DJ on her show “Young Street”.

The singer mentioned how grateful she is to the fans as they wait for her in the booth, prompting Wendy to prioritize the appearance regardless of the harsh weather conditions.
“GOT The Beat’s first mini-album has been released. It’s a pity that only one song was released last time, “Step Back”, but through this album we will show the identity of GOT The Beat. What’s interesting about this album is that each track has different members that stand out.”
“I’m actually not the type to have a very high self-esteem or be full of confidence. But the fans and staff bring it forward. Their affection and praise make me stronger.”
“I am grateful to the fans who still believe in us and support us. I’m also amazed that great and talented juniors are still making their debuts.”
“At Young Street, fans wait 30 minutes to an hour for me. Every second is precious because my time with them is less than five minutes.”
Red Velvet Wendy announces new music for spring
During the interview, Wendy also hinted at a potential comeback as a soloist. According to the idol, 2022 was a time of learning new things. Wendy also said that instead of staying the same as before, she hopes to become more mature in 2023.

Wendy mentioned that in the spring of 2023 she will be preparing to offer new music to ReVeluvs with her warm voice, much like the season itself.
She also revealed that Red Velvet are now in their 10th year of promotion as a group and are dedicated to working harder. Wendy concluded by expressing her gratitude to ReVeluvs as well as making sure she got a good grade.
“2022 was a year where I learned more. I motivated myself to further development, because while running a radio show I met many artists. This year I want to become wiser and more mature.”
“I often hear that my voice goes well with the spring season. So for this coming spring, I’m gearing up to meet my fans with a warm, bright voice, just like the season.”
“I hope in 10 years the juniors will see me the same way that my seniors have inspired me. I don’t want it to be drastically better than it is now. My dream is also to be consistent water.”
