Soojin’s current status after the bullying scandal: life under the radar, still doing well, a friend said

Fans are not losing hope for Soojin’s return to Kpop or the industry in general in the future.

Soojin (born March 9, 1998) is a Korean dancer and singer. She was an intern at DN Entertainment and made her first debut with the girl group Vividiva under the name N.Na. In 2016, she became an intern at Cube Entertainment. About two years later, Soojin appeared in Soyeon’s solo music videos.

Soojin officially debuted with (G)I-DLE on May 2, 2018, and left the group in 2021 after being caught up in a bullying scandal. The company announced her official departure on August 14.

No news about her current whereabouts is updated. While fans are hoping she can make her solo debut again with another agency, the script doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

In May of that year, Soojin reportedly signed with Big Planet Made, VIVIZ (a group of three former GFRIEND members), former SISTAR Soyou and former NU’EST Ren. Unfortunately, the agency itself denied the rumors.

Recently, the tweet went viral as it contained updates on Soojin’s current status from her friend during the person’s Instagram live chat.

The friend helped reassure concerned fans by stating that Soojin is doing fine. Soojin received many supportive messages from her fans when she left the group and Kpop, and greatly appreciated the encouragement she received.

Nothing can be said for sure if Soojin will return to Kpop, but fans hope that one day it will be possible.
