According to management, the rap lyrics in “Lights Out” reportedly enhance the song’s quality. The song embodies the sensibilities of the 80s and 90s, giving it a retro-funk sound.

Representative Kim Jae-ho, CEO of Billion Music and member of the VENDORS production team, said:

“The song was developed with comfort in mind. It conveys the story of an empty heart after turning off the colored lights on stage.”

“Lights Out” premieres on March 22 at 6 p.m. KST.

Sunmi was a member of Wonder Girls before embarking on a solo career in 2014. She released her debut single “Full Moon”.

Since then, Sunmi has become one of the most popular solo artists in South Korea. Her successful singles include “Gashina”, “Heroine” and “Lalalay”, which received awards.

In addition to her solo career, she has also collaborated with famous artists such as SHINee Taemin, Jooyoung and Wonho.

Sunmi has achieved significant success and recognition for her career work. In addition to the Best Female Solo Dance Performance at the 2018 Melon Music Awards and the Best Solo Dance Performance at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards, her song “Gashina” also won numerous other awards.

Moreover, Sunmi released “Heart Burn” in 2022. Since the passage of her 2020 song “Pporappippam”, the song has been another element that many fans found interesting. “Heart Burn” has been speculated to be a sequel or sequel to the 2020 summer track.

BE’O 2023: Rapper’s future activities, controversy

In February, BE’O’s former manager stated that the rapper experienced a dramatic change in attitude after becoming known for the hit variety show “Show Me The Money”.

According to the manager, BE’O forced him to deal with stress, panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. He also revealed that he chose “Complex Hitmaker” early in his career after the rapper begged him via email to collaborate. What’s more, the hip-hop rapper let go of his page explaining the former manager’s allegations.

The song “The Brand” sung by BE’O was allegedly stolen and the songwriter was paid an undisclosed sum of money to remain silent.

Big Planet Made, the rapper’s management company, responded to the accusations by announcing that it would take legal action against any malicious remarks made about its artists, including defamation, harassment, personal attacks and misinformation.

Meanwhile, later that month, the rapper released his digital single “Akita”, with lyrics emanating warmth and watching the seasons change while staying the same.
