Suspicions have been raised that Lee Seung Gi has been scammed by Hook Entertainment in other areas besides music

While Lee Seung Gi is at odds with his agency over his lack of music revenue, more suspicions have surfaced.

On November 24, Lee Seung Gi’s legal representative released a statement saying, “As previously reported, on November 15, Lee Seung Gi sent a certificate of unpaid music earnings content to Hook Entertainment through his lawyer, disclosing the distribution details of all albums Lee Seung Gi participated in and requesting that unpaid music earnings be settled on on this basis.”

Lee Seung Gi asked Hook Entertainment (CEO of Kwon Jin Young) several times for details of the settlement, but Hook Entertainment avoided giving him details under false pretenses “You (Lee Seung Gi) are a singer with negative earnings.

After that, testimonials from fans who had attended Lee Seung Gi’s concerts in the past began to appear in online communities.

According to fans, at his concert Lee Seung Gi said: “I would like to thank my company (Hook Entertainment) for allowing me to organize the concert even though the profit is always minus at every concert” even after successfully completing a concert at Park Gymnastics Olympic Stadium in Seoul.

The Gymnastic Stadium is an indoor concert hall with a capacity of 15,000 spectators and is called a place of dreams even for idols. However, Lee Seung Gi was informed by Hook Entertainment that concert earnings were negative even after performing four times in such a stadium.
