The K-pop music video, which has reached 100 million views on YouTube, is a huge milestone for artists. Whether it takes a few days or a few years to reach a goal, it’s still something worth celebrating.

In 2022, many K-pop MVs were released and some of them quickly gained thousands of views. Here are the top 10 K-pop MVs that hit 100 million views on YouTube this year.

10. (G)I-DLE “tomboy” MV

Released on March 14 at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE “TOMBOY” MV took 46 days to reach 100 million on YouTube.

It initially broke the group’s personal record for fastest K-pop MV with the feat (93 days and 13 hours) set by “Oh my god”.

9. NAYEON “POP!” MV

“POP” NAYEON is also one of the fastest K-pop MVs to reach 100 million views on YouTube in 2022. Like “TOMBOY”, “POP!” it also took 46 days to achieve this feat. In June, it was the fastest MV by a JYP Entertainment artist this year, accumulating 100 million views.

8. MV ITZY “SNEAKERS”.

ITZY’s MV “SNEAKERS” was released on July 15, and after 42 days it surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. It is currently the fastest MV by a JYPE artist to reach the milestone this year (surpassing “POP!” NAYEON).

7. IVE “After LIKE” MV

IVE is the only newcomer on the list. Their latest song “After LIKE” has reached 100 million views on YouTube in 34 days since its release on August 22. In addition, “After LIKE” is the sextet’s fastest MV to reach that mark in their career.

6. Jungkook and Charlie Puth “Left and Right” MV

The sixth fastest K-pop music video to reach 100 million views on YouTube in 2022 is BTS Jungkook’s “Left and Right” featuring Charlie Puth. It took only 18 days, 14 hours and 25 minutes for the music video to accumulate the aforementioned number of views.

5. (G)I-DLE “Nxde” MV

At number five on our list is another (G)I-DLE song, “Nxde”, which was released on October 17 and surpassed 100 million views in 17 days, 15 hours and 58 minutes. “Nxde” is the group’s fastest MV to date to achieve this feat.

4. MV BTS “Yet Ahead”.

BTS’s “Yet to Come” music video also made the Top 10. The video took 9 days, 16 hours and 17 minutes from its release on June 10 to reach 100 million views on YouTube – becoming the group’s 39th music video to do so.

3. PSY “That That” (Prod. & feat. SUGA with BTS) MV

PSY’s “That That” (prod. & feat. SUGA with BTS) is the third fastest K-pop music video in 2022 to reach 100 million views on YouTube. It’s been 7 days and 21 hours since the launch on April 29.

2. BLACKPINK “Disable” MV

The K-pop MV with the second shortest video to accumulate 100 million views on YouTube is BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down”. It reached the milestone in 5 days, 3 hours and 49 minutes after its release on September 16.

1. MV BLACKPINK “Pink Venom”.

Finally, the #1 fastest K-pop music video to reach 100 million views on YouTube in 2022 is BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom”, which only took 1 day, 5 hours and 36 minutes to reach. Notably, “Pink Venom” is also the fastest-ever K-pop music video by an all-female band to achieve this by beating their own song “How You Like That”.
