“Through this painstaking process, I got to the point where I said, ‘Oh, this is going to be a hit,'” said the producer. “When it hit me, I was partying alone; I was just screaming and freaking out.”

BUMZU also told Billboard that the two days he was in his room, the only person he spoke to was SEVENTEEN Woozi.

After two days, BUMZU finally finished the song that became known as “VERY NICE”, which served as the title track on SEVENTEEN’s 2016 repackaged album “Love & Letter”.

During the interview, the singer-songwriter told Billboard that SEVENTEEN members Woozi and S.Coups helped him finalize the lyrics to “VERY NICE”, specifically including “nice” as one of the keywords.

BUMZU said, “Once the lyric work started rolling in, Woozi, S.Coups and I were all in the room talking about how we wanted to include ‘nice’ as one of the keywords.”

He continued that S.Coups was the one who suggested the phrase “Very Nice” and from that word “they just started coming together”.

The producer further explained that the idea of ”nice” was derived from the same idea of ”nice shot” in golf. For example, when someone has a good shot, someone would say, “Nice shot!” and hence “pretty” and “very pretty” developed.
