TWICE exceeds total sales of 10 million albums in Korea

TWICE has reached the milestone of total sales of 10 million albums in Korea.

TWICE has sold 10,010,778 copies in Korea, a total of 19 albums, ranging from their debut album “THE STORY BEGINS”, Nayeon’s first solo mini-album “IM NAYEON”, to the latest and 11th mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2”. TWICE showed the power of their albums and proved their reputation as “The Representative K-Pop Girl Group”.

They sustained their career with the 11th mini-album released in August this year. The album surpassed 1 million cumulative shipments based on the Circle Chart and helped TWICE become one million sold. The music video for the title song “Talk that Talk” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube on November 3. Thus, TWICE set a world record for the girl group with the most music videos reaching over 100 million views, 21 music videos in total, including all 17 title tracks, 3 songs released in Japan and the first English single “The Feeling”.

On November 23, another video was added, which was viewed by 100 million people. “TWICE ‘The Feels’ Choreography Video (Moving Ver.)”, which was posted on TWICE’s official YouTube channel on October 3, 2021, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube around 4:05 p.m. TWICE once again proved its worldwide popularity by creating 2 choreographed videos with over 100 million views ranging from “CRY FOR ME” to “The Feels”.

TWICE also boasts a strong presence as “world top girl group” on Billboard. Their 11th mini-album entered the Billboard “Billboard 200” main chart (week beginning September 10) at No. 3. After the 6th place with the 10th mini-album “Taste of Love” in June 2021 and the 3rd place with the 3rd full-length album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3" in November 2021, they managed to enter the top 10 for the first time third, setting a K-pop girl group record for most albums to land in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
