His statement is as follows:

“This is Vata.

I thought it was just a cold wind, but now I have decided to write this post to avoid further confusion.

First, about the controversy,

When I first heard the music, I quickly thought of a plain in the wasteland. So I did an intro choreography showing a scene of a character arriving on a motorcycle or horse. Therefore, there is a movement of starting the motorcycle’s engine at the start followed by a big kick, and finally a movement that signals the rider getting off the motorcycle or horse, and there is a story with a beginning, middle, and end.

I think this is completely different from the intention and relationship between the movements of choreography to which it is currently being compared.

As someone who loves dance culture, I find it admirable when artists and choreographers respect each other. However, I don’t think that’s the case at the moment, which I find very unfortunate.

Whatever the reason, as the controversy arose partly because of my involvement, I apologize to Street Man Fighter viewers and everyone who was cheering for We Dem Boyz for causing the controversy. I will repay you for the burden I put on with even better performances. Thank you.”
