On November 4, the Melon Music Awards revealed the nominees for this year’s awards ceremony, scheduled to take place on November 26 at 6:00 PM KST. Artists who released their music between November 8, 2021 and November 3, 2022 were qualified for this year’s show.

You must have a verified Melon account or a Kakao ID / Korean phone number to vote for the 2022 Melon Music Awards. Voting is now open on the official MMA website and will last until Friday, November 18.

Kryteria Melon Music Awards 2022 (MMA)
The 2022 MMA winning criteria include digital broadcast results, voting results and judge ratings. Some categories are broken down below.
- Top 10 – Digital Music Rating (80%) + Votes (20%)
- Artist of the Year – Digital Music Rating (60%) + Rating (20%) + Votes (20%)
- Album of the Year – Digital Music Rating (60%) + Rating (20%) + Votes (20%)
- Netizen Popularity Award – Digital Music Rating (40%) + Votes (60%)
- Top Group – Digital Music Rating (60%) + Rating (20%) + Votes (20%)
Other awards that are not included in the online voting, such as the Album of the Year and Music Video of the Year, will be based solely on Melon’s performances and judges’ ratings.
